Raw elegance of mineral and earth in the new Elemental exhibition curated by KALPA at the Vincent Van Duysen-designed Pavilion

A two-dimensional representation, both visual and graphic, of a story spanning almost a century: this is the essence of the Museum 2D exhibition, curated by Ron Gilad.

During Milan Design Week 2025 Molteni&C is hosting Letters to Milan, an installation by Studio Klass at Museo Poldi Pezzoli that explores the company's intimate connection to its home city.

Mario Carrieri published his Milano, Italia (1959) photo book, a cinematic portrayal of Milan from its barren suburbs to the dark glamour of the city centre, when he was only 27 years old.

When Monk re-enters Molteni&C’s catalogue this year, it will mark 35 years since the chair was last in production. “Designed by Afra and Tobia Scarpa, ‘Monk’ is simple and solid,” reads the company’s 1990 catalogue.

The catalogue for UniArm, the new monitor arm from UniFor, opens with a few pages of closeup photography of the arm’s sleek, hinged form, followed by a double-page spread filled with an X-ray image of the product.

For UniFor, design has always been about more than just a product: each object the company creates represents a dialogue between the user and maker, and embodies its vision for how a space should make you feel.

But in addition to his homes in Antwerp and Melides, there is a place to which he has returned time and time again: Milan.
